Rolling Stone on Beyonce's "4", dropping 6/28/11
It’s been a while, I know, but honestly, what better a note to return on than one of the best albums of the year (maybe). It’s not better than Kanye’s BUT its delicious all the same.
The album is badass. The beats are spectacular and she has a few tracks that would even qualify as pop tracks (sort of). What I love most is her use of subliminal messages. She’s a really talented artist and her genre (which I think is best described as Alternative) is well represented. The thing is, her album doesn’t follow any sort of pattern. She raps on some tracks, harmonizes on others.
She did an amazing job.
Check back in a couple days after I post a few tracks….then go by the album.
This weekend my best friend( with many connects) gave me an advanced copy of the new MIA album (her 3rd studio album) entitled MAYA. I have heard nothing but great things and since I am a fan, I will posting my review sometime today.
Until later! Ciao.

Hello Dolls,
Been working on some stuff, I’m really excited and look for my special post a little later.
This Is It. Thank You Chris. -
This year’s BET Awards were full of shenanigans BUT they proved themselves with this performance (and later, the Prince Tribute and a John Legend Tribute—both of which I will be posting). Chris is an amazing artist and when it’s all said and done, I hope we remember that.
